That was an amazing game to be part of. So proud of this group of boys.
As has been said already this is a good 1st Div team with I think 4 subs on the bench, so for our 11 to put in a whole 70 minutes like that was amazing.
They had to be really disciplined and keep their shape today. They defended solidly as a team throughout the whole game and were dangerous when we had possession. Very impressed today.
Each player had to pull out top performances today to compete with Compton and in every area we held our own.
Some having their best games this seasons.
Never giving up as well and battling for everything.
It's a good game to learn from for the boys, the ball needed to be moved around fast with no time to dwell on the ball which is something that caught us out a few times but when we moved the ball round quickly we were able to pass our way through the team and we got into some great scoring opportunities.
After a performance like that today, whoever we face in the Quarter final we don't need to worry.
